Free Frenchy Background - Chandeliers & Flourishes

This one coordinates with the digital paper that I posted 2 days ago, only the chandeliers and swirls are done in a regal gold color here, suitable for Marie Antoinette herself! One of my favorite parts of this is the wonderful 18th century ornaments that line either side of the white center panel. (You can enlarge this by clicking on the image).

This free background was made to be used on a Blogger blog using the Minima template for the standard number of columns.
Follow these instructions to use this background on your blog:
1)Make sure you are logged in and then click "Customize" at the top of your blog.
2)Click on "Add A Gadget"
3)Scroll down the box and click on "Html/Javascript"
4)In the "Content Box" cut and paste the Html code posted below.
5)Click "Save" and you are done!

<style type="text/css">body {background-image: url(""); background-position: center; background-repeat: no-repeat; background-attachment: fixed; }</style><div id="tag" style="position:absolute; left:10px; top:30px; z-index:50;width:172px; height:51px;"><a href="" target="_blank"><img

  1. I would love to use this background, but when I add it to my blog, the sidebar writing overlaps the background - is there anyway I can fix it so that all the writing is in the centre?

  2. Hi Kate,
I'm glad you like this background, your blog is lovely by the way! This is an easy fix actually. Your currently using the blogger "Minima Stretch" template, if you switch to the standard "Minima" template the background should fit perfectly!
    Hope this helps,

  3. OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Make this in PINK!!!!!! It's fabulous!!!!

    M ^..^

Do your free backgrounds work on an apple computer if Blogger is not used?
