Free Blog Background - Red & White Dots

Here's a bright and cheery lay out! This one includes tiny white dots on red with additional red accents that were made from 18th & 19th century illustrations. This one is great for everyday use, but could also be used for Valentine's Day or Christmas as well. This free background was made to be used on a Blogger blog using the Minima template for the standard number of columns.
Follow these instructions to easily add this background to your blog:
1)Make sure you are logged in and then click "Customize" at the top of your blog.
2)Click on "Add A Gadget"
3)Scroll down the box and click on "Html/Javascript"
4)In the "Content Box" cut and paste the Html code posted below.
5)Click "Save" and you are done!

<style type="text/css">body {background-image: url("http://i446.photobucket.com/albums/qq185/thebackgroundfairy/backreddots3.jpg"); background-position: center; background-repeat: no-repeat; background-attachment: fixed; }</style><div id="tag" style="position:absolute; left:10px; top:30px; z-index:50;width:172px; height:51px;"><a href="http://www.backgroundfairy.com" target="_blank"><img

  3. I love all your blog backgrounds and I use them often but I would love to make one of my own.

Do you have or know of a tutorial that would help me do it?

    I would be so grateful.

    Kind regards

  4. Hi Gloria,
Thank you much for your comment. I'm so glad that your readers liked my background, thank you so much for letting me know!

    Hi Xashee,
Wow, thanks so much for the award!

    Hi Taluula,
It took me about a month of playing around with different sizes and techniques and such to figure it out, also my son helped me too, thank goodness! I don't know if I could really explain how to do it, it still takes me awhile to make each one as I'm learning myself. I always make sure I test each one out on my test blog before I go live with any of them. Here's a link that might help you, I have learned a lot from this site http://blogger-tricks.blogspot.com/ including how to add a 3rd column to your blog.
    Hope this helps!

    Karen

  8. Karen, This is my favorite, and not just for Christmas. Will you be creating a background with this for the new blogger templates? I can't STAND the new templates, but my BackgroundFairy backgrounds are not showing up on some computers (mostly at school), and I have a classroom blog that was much cuter w/your backgrounds than the Blogger stuff... Thank you!!!! Tami

  9. Hi Tami,
Yes, I will add it to my list! I will need to make a wider version, it may not have the vine detail along the center panel, but I should be able to keep the rest of it the same.
