Free Blog Background - Scripty Writing with Crowns

Here's the newest background! This one features a beautiful 1850's handwritten piece of ephemera, that has been embellished with a few sepia toned crowns. I hope you like it!

This free background was made to be used on a Blogger blog using the Minima template for the standard number of columns.

Follow these instructions to easily add this background to your blog:

1)Make sure you are logged in and then click "Customize" at the top of your blog.
2)Click on "Add A Gadget"
3)Scroll down the box and click on "Html/Javascript"
4)In the "Content Box" cut and paste the Html code posted below.
5)Click "Save" and you are done!

<style type="text/css">body {background-image: url("http://i446.photobucket.com/albums/qq185/thebackgroundfairy/1abackwrite9.jpg"); background-position: center; background-repeat: no-repeat; background-attachment: fixed; }</style><div id="tag" style="position:absolute; left:10px; top:30px; z-index:50;width:172px; height:51px;"><a href="http://www.backgroundfairy.com" target="_blank"><img

  2. Hi Karen,
I have a stupid question, is there any way to have the whole background instead of it broken up with columns?
    Thanks,

  3. Hi Angie,
    I'm glad you like it!

    Hey Rosemary,
The center panel actually hides a multitude of sins, like seams and things. I'm working on a similar piece that would be a digital paper instead, that one will have an all over pattern. We have a big event at the shop this weekend, so I might not be able to get put it up until next week.
