As promised, here is the 3 column version of the modern Peony background that I posted the other day. Please keep in mind this is made for an existing 3 column blog, and will not turn your blog into a 3 column blog.This free background was made to be used on a Blogger blog using the Minima template.
Follow these instructions to easily add this background to your blog:
1)Make sure you are logged in and then click "Customize" at the top of your blog.
2)Click on "Add A Gadget"
3)Scroll down the box and click on "Html/Javascript"
4)In the "Content Box" cut and paste the Html code posted below.
5)Click "Save" and you are done!
<style type="text/css">body {background-image: url("http://i446.photobucket.com/albums/qq185/thebackgroundfairy/modpeony3col2.jpg"); background-position: center; background-repeat: no-repeat; background-attachment: fixed; }</style><div id="tag" style="position:absolute; left:10px; top:30px; z-index:50;width:172px; height:51px;"><a href="http://www.backgroundfairy.com" target="_blank"><img
border="0"src="http://i446.photobucket.com/albums/qq185/thebackgroundfairy/1buttonlabel5.png"/></a></div>

What a feel good batch of blue-- Thanks, Karen!
ReplyDeletehey, could you get some cat backgrounds?
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for this Freebie. I want to let you know that I posted a link to your blog in Creative Busy Hands Scrapbook Freebies Search List, under the Page 2 post on Sep. 11, 2009. Thanks again.
ReplyDeleteDear Karen,
ReplyDeleteI'd have written an email, but I can never make blog email click-able links work. -le sigh- So I have to ask this, here in comments.
Please, do you give backgrounds, which can be used with Blogger Minima Stretch template? I think they are just a simple all-over-pattern. Not one, with the usual decoration-on-side of page.
I ask because I would love to use the Minima Stretch, to be able to tweek my photos and make them show large. I do so on my photo blog. I'd love to, on my regular blog.
And I'd really love one, which would be a very pale, soft, gentle curves, sort of. In a pale, soft gray... or pale, soft green... or pale, soft beige. [I know, I don't do well with description! Sorry.]
Please and thank you.
