Today's background was made using a scrolly image from an antique hardware catalog! This was actually the pattern for an iron grill for a door. I've added a couple of sprigs of holly with a sweet bird peeking out. Just right for Christmas or you could use it for everyday. This free background was made to be used on a Blogger blog using the Minima template for the standard number of columns.
Follow these instructions to easily add this background to your blog:
1)Make sure you are logged in and then click "Customize" at the top of your blog.
2)Click on "Add A Gadget"
3)Scroll down the box and click on "Html/Javascript"
4)In the "Content Box" cut and paste the Html code posted below.
5)Click "Save" and you are done!
<style type="text/css">body {background-image: url("http://i446.photobucket.com/albums/qq185/thebackgroundfairy/1abackredgrillreg4.jpg"); background-position: center; background-repeat: no-repeat; background-attachment: fixed; }</style><div id="tag" style="position:absolute; left:10px; top:30px; z-index:50;width:172px; height:51px;"><a href="http://www.backgroundfairy.com" target="_blank"><img

I just changed my blog's background to one of yours - the winter snowflake design - and I am so pleased with it! I had to completely change my template to do so, but it's totally worth it, because not only does my blog have a fresh new look, but it loads much faster now!!! Kudos to you, Karen!
