Video Tutorial - Add a Title to your Blog Header & Center it Too!

Simple Custom Background Header from Digiscrap101 on Vimeo.

I'm so excited to share this awesome video with you today!!! This video tutorial was created by Kayla Lamoreaux from Digitalscrapper.com Kayla teaches Photoshop classes and Blogging classes too, so she is quite the expert at this stuff! The video is very well done and shows you step by step how to add your own title to your header, (with the font of your choice, yay!) using Photoshop Elements. And how to add it to your blog and Center it too!
You will see in the video, that a scrap of code is required to center your header.

Here is the code:

#header-inner
{
width: 648px;
margin: auto;
}

For those of you that don't have Photoshop Elements, there is a free program called Gimp that you can download. I haven't used it myself, but I have heard good things about it.

Thank you Kayla for this wonderfully helpful tutorial!! Be sure and visit Kayla at Digitalscrapper.com she has more tutorials in the works!

Thanks for stopping by!

  7. What a great tutorial-so informative! I chose the header that you used(so i wouldn't confuse myself)now ready to go back and play around with some of the others. One question, do u change pixel size in blogger or pse? Did it in blogger but didnt
    seem to make a difference in centering. Thanks!

  8. I'm so glad you all enjoyed the tutorial!

    Mikki,
    I think you must have put the code in the wrong spot, I can actually see the code on your blog, above the navigation bar. If the code is displaying, that means something is wrong with it. Just delete it and try it again. I hope this helps!
