This is one is nice for Winter, it's a Yellow Damask Background with some pretty Snowflakes! This is made to be used with Bloggers New Template Designer, it will work with 2 or 3 columns.

This one works best with Bloggers "Picture Window" Template.

  2. I love this design! I have been looking forward to the 3 column version for days now. Sadly, I most likely will not use it. I don't know if it's meant to be this way, but the Background Fairy link appears twice on the background. I don't mind it appearing once, but twice just looks cluttered to me. I know that if it is intended this way, you must be trying to prevent people stealing your designs. For those of us who do give credit to blog graphic designers however, it really rains on our parade.

    Thanks,
    Lydia

  3. Hi Lydia,
If you follow the last step in my directions (the optional one) this will take care of that problem. Just move your gadget into your footer, the link will then show up at the very bottom of your page, or you may not see it at all depending on your layout. And yes, I have had a lot of theft with my backgrounds unfortunately.

  5. Hi Karen,
    Thanks for the response!
Moving the gadget to the footer does help with the floating link, but not with the link that has been made part of the background towards the top. That is primarily what I was complaining about. Perhaps your version does not show up that way, but when I add the coding exactly as you have it on the blog, the link shows up twice. The link at the top is not clickable, so I presume it has been made part of the image.
I really love your backgrounds, and not all your backgrounds are like this, so thats why I brought it up.
    Thanks,
    Lydia

  6. Lydia,
I guess I'm confused. Your previous comment stated that the double link was what was bothering you, now I think your saying that you don't want to show my credit at all?
Whether the credit is floating, or not, all of my backgrounds are designed to have the credit showing at the top left hand portion of the background, my TOS states that it's not to be moved or removed. The only way that I can keep the backgrounds free to all, is by keeping the credit there in order to drive traffic to my blog. I make a meager amount on this blog for the work that I do, I could make much more if I did custom work, but I prefer to keep these free for everyone. Also, I make all of my blogs from scratch, they are not from kits, the way some make them, so they are time consuming to create. I'm sorry you are so disappointed, but I'm afraid there is no way around this.
If you go to my link page, you can find many talented blog designers that you can hire to create a custom design for you.
I hope this all makes sense!
    Happy Holidays!
