Super Simple Tip #2 - Start Your Own Blog

Today I'm offering step by step instructions for creating your very own first blog on Blogger. I actually get quite a few emails and comments about this. I think many people think that it's harder than it actually is. As you'll see below, it's super easy and you can have your first blog up and running in less than 2 minutes flat!

You can click on any of the images to enlarge them

Step 1)
This is the first page. You can get to it by clicking HERE.
The first thing you
will do is Click the orange button marked "Create A Blog".

Step 2)
If you already have a Google account, ( if you have Gmail, then you have a Google account) then click the blue letters marked "Sign in First" at the top of the page. If you do not already have a google account, then fill in all of the info on the page. Then click the orange "continue" button.

Step 3) Next fill in the title of your blog (coming up with a title that you like, is often the hardest part!). Then fill in what you would like your blog address to be. The click the blue "Check Availability" button to see if your name is available. (If it's not available you will need to try another name. ) Once you find an available name, then fill in the "word verification" letters and hit the orange button.

Step 4) Now choose a Template. Remember, if you are going to use one of my free backgrounds, or one from most of the other sites, you will need to select "MINIMA"!! I cannot stress this enough, my backgrounds will not display properly with any of the other options. Then hit the Orange "Continue" button.

Step 5) Guess what?!! You're done!! Ha! See that, you did it, and it wasn't scary, it was super fun and you are ready to enter the fabulous world of blogging. Congratulations! Now hit the orange "Start Blogging" button and start typing your first post!
